- Graduation from a recognised University
- OJEE Rank holder
- Admission is only through OJEE
- On allotment of seat by OJEE, students will report to MICM for admission
Duration of the Course
2yearsFull-Timeconsisting of Four Semesters. Each academic year shall be divided into Two Semesters. The First academic year shall comprise the First & Second Semesters, the Second academic year the Third & Fourth Semesters. The duration of each semester will be about 16 weeks. The subjects of study shall be in accordance with the syllabus prescribed from time to time by the BPUT, Rourkela.
Pedagogy
A variety of methods are used to teach students. Lecture sessions are supplemented with case studies, individual and team exercises, assignments, seminar presentations, business games etc..
Internship
As a part of the curriculum each student at MICM is to do Summer Internship for 7 weeks. Usually the Summer Internship will be during the month of May to June. MICM faculty guides the students during the internship. The project report of each student is evaluated by 2 faculties. The students have also to make a presentation on their project in front an expert panel including external consultants/faculty. The presentation is followed by viva voce.
Placement
The Institute has an active students’ placement programme. Through its placement cell, it provides direction and support to students who are eligible for placements.
